We’re back!

Wow! It’s been some time since we’ve posted but it has been a very busy couple of weeks! The trip to Honduras was absolutely amazing! God used it to completely reaffirm that He has called us there. We fell in love with the kids of Manuelito and would go back tomorrow if we could!! Thank you so much for all the prayer and encouragement while we were there.

The Sunday we got back we had our first church meeting which went AMAZING! It was at Plum Springs Baptist Church, which is where I went from around the ages of 12-17. It was so good getting to see everyone again. Ashley was really nervous but ended up talking more than I did!! You could tell how passionate she was as she stood up there and told of the problems of homelessness, drugs, and prostitution among youth in Honduras. Afterwards we had several people express how they would love to come on a missions trip in the future, so we’re looking forward to that happening one day!! ☺

Two weekends from now we’ll be going to St. Peters, MO (around St. Louis) to meet with Calvary Christian Church. Calvary was the 2 work teams that were down at Manuelito while we were there. It will be so wonderful to relive and share stories of our experiences in Honduras. We’ll be having a get together lunch with both the teams that Sunday and a dinner with the Missions “board?” that night. Please pray for a safe trip that weekend!

We are so excited about where God is leading us right now and really can’t wait to just go back!! Please pray for patience on our behalf and that God will provide these funds. We love you all dearly and thank you for keeping up with our lives!
