Slackers

Wow it’s been a while since we’ve updated! We apologize and promise we have every intention of keeping everyone informed as we progress in this calling. I guess the reason for no updates is because we feel there hasn’t been much to update on!

In March we went to St Louis to visit Calvary Christian Church and that really was update worthy. We had a WONDERFUL time seeing everyone we met while in Honduras. These are such great missions minded people who have such a big heart for the ministry at Manuelito. We had a grill out while we were there where both teams came together and shared their experiences and how God had worked through them since the trip. We’re so happy God has joined us together and we look forward to working with them in the future.

Calvary Christian

I’ve started my job helping the man who is a quadriplegic and I have been loving it. It’s such a great job and we thank God so much for providing it. Ashley is enjoying her job as well nannying a 2 and 6 year old.

We’re talking at a church this Sunday in Nashville so please pray about that.

Please pray also that God places people in our path that have a heart for this kind of ministry and who would support us. While God has provided so much there’s still a long way to go until we can begin serving. I think a common misconception is that a missionary is fully supported through churches. Most of our support will come from individuals, without whom we won’t be able to go. We know that God has called us to Manuelito and the need for us there is desperate. Please pray for patience and wisdom so that we may get there in His timing.

Give us some feedback and how you would like to see this work.

Thanks for the updates! I think pairing up supporters/prayer partners with children from Manuelito is a GREAT idea! I would really love to do something like this - and I think it would help people to feel more connected to you all and the project by having a specific child to pray for. smile Thanks again for the updates... we sure have been missing you guys!!!!

I miss you guys so much! Adam is now in Japan for 2 months and I sit staring at the computer anxiously awaiting Asher news! I am ready to get my boy home so we can start contributing to our 2 favorite missionaries! Love you guys!! Cynthia
